25.05.17. It starts in Ibiza, Spain – Case Vella.
A bunch of press, bloggers, influencers, VIP’s and I flew down to this dream destination to discover not only the escapes of an European beauty but to delve into a new and popping brand. Casa Villa Vella was breathtaking, flying from an underwelhming Summer spell in London to an extremely stunning, luxury villa was just the spark needed to set off the perfect setting for the launch of an awesome brand. It was perfection.
Set in the secluded, pine-covered hills of the exclusive area of Puig Manya, overlooking Ibiza’s beautiful southern coast, was my en suite room set next to the spa and jacuzzi steam room, and onwards looking onto our private tennis courts. Up the stairs from there was the large private swimming pool that boasts breath-taking sea views and overlooks Ibiza’s Almudaina Castle, minutes from the Botafoch Marina, Talamanca and other beaches. Here I spent the first few hours of the first day day floating and trying to actually perceive what could have been better than that moment.
And no – it doesn’t stop there, because not only were we woken up by our own on-site DJ’s, our personal chef continued to deliver somewhat shy of a feast as we sat down to enjoy the bliss of such a beautiful landscape.
It was pivotal to discover all of the connections between all of us at the villa, from social influencers, to the press including JPR, to creatives and presenters – we were all there for one purpose, and that was to spread the word about this newly launching brand that will fulfil a gap in the market and quickly become the “go-to” label for a trend-led, fast fashion community. Jessica Patterson, the Dubai Fashion TV team (Lewis Andrews, Charli Fisher and Christina Lomas), beautiful baddies Francesca Newman-Young, Nikita Andrianova, Jessica Anne Woodley, Tina Stinnes, Robyn Evan, Charlie Barker, Jayde Pierce, Mike Dixon and too many more incredible people, including the SawItFirst styling team and founders. Later on in the day we ventured to Ocean Beach Club to join the rest of the influencers, including sweetheart Jamie Genevieve (thanks for finally teaching me how to pop the highlight), Mpho Lebajoa and many more beauties! This was our first introduction to the amazing party-vibes that the brand expels!
We were introduced to a brand consumer experience that focused on fashion e-tailer – initially launched in 2011 to target a UAE market – and ending with a providence of the hottest runway and streetwear trends for less. And when I mean less I mean less, because with prices starting at £5, and next day delivery available, you can enjoy “catwalk to closet shopping” directly at your door – with none of those cheap quality horrors!

We were all in awe to discover the simplicity yet intricacy of the amazing trends that the brand is setting, and a similar perspective was agreed by Hellomag and Dailymail. Although limited for time, there was so much discovered about the brand. I modelled many pieces (especially the swimwear – making the most of the sizzling heat!) including the White Lace Maxi Dress which was filmed as part of their social advertising (as seen below) however my favourites were the White Harness Plunge Bodysuit and the Navy White Stripe Bow Bandeau Bikini Set that I could not help but take away to Majorca and show off the goodness!
Following an investment from a private equity company specialising in hospitality and retail, I Saw It First has opened its first UK offices and warehouse in 2017, led by an experienced management team as it expands to become a certified global player in the online arena, in which I was blessed enough to meet.
With the newest product sourced globally from fashion capitals like London, Paris, and Milan, the collection offers a range of fresh, trend driven product for a diverse customer demographic – from frow fashionistas to casual stylers.
Undoubtedly in this day and age, Social media inspires style like never before and to use this trend to an advantage new brands have to be able to focus a market towards one that is suitable for a social investment,. I Saw It First work to create and interpret the trends set within social media quickly, so that their fashion forward customer can access them ahead of seasonal shifts.

Each piece on the website has been carefully curated in terms of silhouettes, fabric and style to capture market trends and maximise choice, and because of the brand’s close links with a large supply base, I Saw It First are able to produce and provide key pieces ahead of competitors, allowing customers to have the tomorrow’s trends, today.

It was more than amazing to be able to wear the outfits during our daily experiences in Ibiza, and to truly experience the sheer quality of a brand that offers so much for so little! It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience with some amazing fun and beautiful people that came together all to just say that we Saw it First.
Me and the dream team got to WearItFirst and work with the producers the online and advertisement content for the brand’s multimedia, including Kimaathi Spence, Lloyd Gardner and many more amazing talents! So when you’re on there shopping away within the likes of Pretty Little Things, Missguided, Boohoo and more and you feel like taking on that extra kick of a brand – remember that you saw it here first!
