Merola can be found in a shop in Chelsea, London selling the highest quality costume and fashion jewellery.  They are known for their pieces – stocking the well-known American designer, Kenneth Jay Lane. His jewellery, worn by many celebrities, including the late great Audrey Hepburn and Jacqueline Kennedy, Sarah Jessica Parker Lady Gaga and too many more to mention, and Merola collects more of these beautifully worn pieces.

I figured that what is so amazing about them is that they stock other beautiful pieces from our own ranges to other clever and gifted designers. – It’s like a huge collaboration of beautiful, priceless jewellery. I was in love with not only the decor of the store but how the jewellery was intricately displayed, on visiting thanks to JPR.

I was also lucky enough to meet the master behind Merola, and to get to know the story behind all of the amazing diamonds.

Shop them on line | H E R E | as they ship worldwide and with excellent service, and why not check them out in store at Merola London 195 Fulham Road, London, SW3 6JL. They can help you with jewellery for your wedding and other special occasions, or just lovely treats for yourself!

Similarily, if you love bespoke and intricate jewellery but with a more rustic approach then you will love Rekko.

Rekko Design is a fresh new label producing high quality handmade jewellery, inspired by the styles of the 80’s and 90’s, as well as different cultures. The raw material used is leather combined with upcycled elements. Basic elements of the pieces are geometrical shapes, softened by curvy additions at times. The jewellery is made for women of all ages who like to add an edgy side to their look. All pieces are handmade and are statement pieces, many of them with bold colours. The earrings, necklaces and other accessories can be worn as part of a day outfit or they can become the central piece of any low key outfit for the evening.

A very good friend and lovely working companion, Donja, and I modelled their Mint collection – which in literal terms was their mint-coloured neck, back, stomach, earirng and head pieces. It was a lovely warm day and ( apart from the attacking grass bees ) it was an amazing time – we had the whole field to ourselves – rented out by the coordinator for the day – and after the shoot danced away in bliss away from our phones and everything else that us bloggers crave on a daily basis.

It Was Bliss.
